WHAT TO DO?

I was with my boyfriend for 4 years. I wanted to get married...he DID NOT, at all...ever! we argued about this often and eventually he broke up with me because he said he needed space and freedom.
So i decided, if he was not that committed to me...then i was out. We broke up, i moved out. 3 months later, he called and asked me to come round and said he missed me so much and wanted to get married. Anyone have any idea what kind of game he is playing??? he has already put down a deposit on a ring.
