Wedding Party Accomodations
Question:
If the wedding is out of town, who is responsible for paying for the sleeping accomodations of the wedding party?

The Wedding Party is Responsible for Accomodations but if the Bride calls & lets a hotel/Motel know that They`ll be having wedding guests staying there & the dates sometimes they can get a discounted rate.

It`s called reserving a block of rooms and you should do it for not just the wedding party, but all of your guests. Make sure to include the guest rate and information on a card sent with the invitations.

Yes, the room blocking is a good thing. I just blocked 20 rooms for my wedding in Feb. Before you sign the contract read over it and make sure that the rooms that weren`t booked will be released atleast 30 days before the wedding, or else you could be held responsible for payment on them.
