Wishing Well

Please do not put any thing on your invitation like that, everyone knows what a wishing well is for.Miss Manners and Emily Post would faint. The only thing that should be on the invitation is who, when where. Think about it have you ever in your life received a wedding invitation with what your thinking on it?

Wishing Well is the same as a Gift Registry & is to be passed by Word of MOUTH.

If the wedding is to be held in Sacramento, the French term for "wishing well" would be hint enough - French is a great way to make ordinary things sound romantic. If the wedding is to be held in Jerome, Idaho, Spanish would be the choice. In Utah, it might be fun to refer to it as an "Ishing way-Ell-way". English terms would work if the celebration is to be held in Uruguay. Write back!

I wouldn`t put anything on the invitation about the wishing well. I just got married 2 months ago and everyone that was at the wedding knew that we had everything that we needed and we ended up with around $600 and about 10 gifts. I would count on word of month.
