Which coast are you on? Virginia, North & South Carolina all have beautiful scenery, and you can get a wedding cabin. I`ve never been on the west coast, but I`ve heard California, Texas, Wyoming and Colorado are beautiful as well. I live in Tallahassee, FL, but eloped to the beaches of St. Petersburg & Tampa FL to be married. Good luck.

Hi there,
My fiance and I are eloping in Negril Jamaica. Initially it started as a Thanksgiving vacation and then ended up being a wedding. No one knows that we are getting married yet. We did a lot of research and ended up booking a vacation at Couple Swept Away Negril. It`s all inclusive and the wedding is free - all you have to pay is $150.00 for the licence etc. They supply a two tier cake (although we probably won`t need it), bouquet, a bottle of champagne and two half hour massages. This is costing us about $3400.00 which includes airfair from Dayton Ohio, all meals, taxes, alcohol and all recreational sports (including scuba diving). Not sure if this is too expensive for you but it`s what we chose and are very happy about it so far. Good luck with finding a great destination....

Hi,
I just bought a great book, Let`s Elope by Scott Shaw and Lynn Beahan on half.com for a few dollars. It features US destinations as well as Mexico and Europe. The book provides really specific information about different spots around the world to elope.

I was married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at the Sangals Resort and it was very beautiful. The person earled replied that they are paying 3400, My husband and I only paid around 3000 for ours and we get the same and we stayed 7 nights 8 days. The Sandals wedding cordinator did a wonderful job and the resort was very beautiful and romantic. In Jamaica you have to stay 48 hours before getting married so we left on Sunday and Tuesday was our wedding and we had it at 4:00 p.m. Our wedding was just July 1st of this year and would recommend Sandals Ocho Rios to anyone wanting to have there wedding and honeymoon all in one. Have no regreat. Good luck!!
