Help I Need A Place To Elope
My girlfriend and I are thinking of eloping, so we can be legally married, and we are planning in the future to have big wedding to renew our vows so our whole family and friends can be there to share it with us. We are just not too sure where you can elope around here. We live in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, canada. And if anyone knows where we could go, that would be greatly apprecieated. Thanks

Jamaica sounds good - that where my fiance and I are eloping. The wedding is free (only $150.00 for licence etc) and you get a cake (not that you will need one), bouquet, button hole, champagne tshirts and half hour massage each. We are staying at Couples Swept Away Negril resort. This way we get a wedding and honeymoon at the same time! We are also celebrating when we get back - we are having a cocktail party. I was married as well in Jamaica but at Sandals Ocho Rios. LOVED IT AND HAVE NO REGRETS.. Our wedding was free because we stayed over 5 nights. It was so easy and stress free and recommend to anyone. We ordered the pictures and the video so we can show it to our friends and families and they loved it. In Jamaica you have to be there for 48 hours before you can get married so we left on a Sunday and was married on that Tuesday at 4:00 in the afternoon. Ocho Rios was very beautiful and romantic and the wedding cordinator did a wonderful job. Our wedding was on July 1st of 2003 and we are so ready to go back. Sandals Ocho Rios is a wonderful place to have your wedding/moon at.

That is not close to nova scotia hahaa. Im in cape breton and am wondering the same thing as well. Something a little more personal then going to a judge..
