David`s Bridal Truly Is Bad

I am not a happy bride when it came to visiting the Costa Mesa, CA and the Santa Ana, CA store and was VERY upset to find that after making an appt to view dresses and expect customer service when I arrived at the store, no one greeted me at all. As well, I waited well over an hour after my appt was made and other brides shopping in the store said Good Luck getting someone to even ask if you need help. Needless to say, I am passing the word in a wide network of what would have been potential customers to say that David`s Bridal does NOT employ corteous and attentive employees. NEVER would I want to shop there and a bride should feel like a PRINCESS, let alone at least a normal customer.

Wendy,
I`m sorry to hear you too had such a bad experience with DB. They are truly a real life **NIGHTMARE** in every sense of the word. What ever you do don`t go back. No matter what anyone says, keep reading this blog site there are 100`s & 1000`s of complaints. Some PPL may have had what they call a decent experience but 99% DO NOT. I started posting on here after my Daughters MOH was told by DB 79 days before the wedding "Sucks to be you," you can`t get your dress before the wedding. After they had been telling us for 14 months, 68 days is deadline to order. They are disorganized lost one of our BM sizes, she had to drive over an hour to be resized. Let another BM order her dress w/o the sash or slip to match the MOH. And we are now down to 55 days till the wedding, having the MOH dress made by a friend who`s a seamstress......RUN** RUN** Far away from DB-**NIGHTMARE** You`ll be a much happier, less stressed, "Princess -Bride" as you should be..

Weddings are stressful to begin with but having a sales person who is rude and doesn`t care how much time she wastes of your own time makes my blood boil. I came in and tried on a few bridesmaid dresses and found the one i wanted for my friend`s wedding. Since things were still being worked out with the bride I asked the sales person if I could come back a different day to buy the dress when the bride had everything finalized, the lady said sure when you come back in all your information will in our system so all you have to do is pay when you come in. Only several days had passed and after getting the approval from the bride i went back to get my dress. The first person Tiffany said your size is not in our system and I of course don`t remember what size i bought because i was told my dress information was going to be recorded. So I had to try on different sizes again to find my size. After all that they didn`t have the size i needed so i assumed my size and proceed to buy that size. I got rung up by the lady who originally helped me the first day I went in and her attitude changed like "I`m not going to apologize that you just lost an hour of your life because of my mistake" I was so pissed. She was all so what size are you I was all well I tired an 8 and it was too small and i tired the 12 but that was too big. Then the saleslady was all then you must be a ten with attitude. Didn`t say sorry i didn`t put your size in instead said well I wrote on a piece of paper but it didn`t make it into our system. What kind of customer service is that I will never host my wedding at david`s bridal. I only had to go there for a friend and because of this I will not force my friends to go there either for bridesmaid dresses.
