Renewing Our Vows Through The Church.

Good for you Stephanie, I think it`s wonderful that you are renewing your vows.

Personally, I feel you should plan this day whatever way you and your fiance want it to be. I don`t think there is a whole lot protocol to follow.

Here`s my personal views on a second marriage. Again, this is just my opinion -- some people may agree with me, some may disagree -- I`m simply offering some guidelines to think about -- take them or leave.

I only have two things I wouldn`t personally do.

1. I wouldn`t wear white.
2. I wouldn`t have a very large bridal party (2 or 3 attendants at most)

I would do everything else like a first wedding. I`d invite as many people as I can afford to feed.....I`d have a big ole wedding cake...I`d get the band or DJ....I`d feed my people a nice meal.....I`d do it all like a first marriage -- I just wouldn`t be wearing white or having 10 bridesmaids.

Stephanie, you do your day as you always wanted it to be. If you want white, go for it....if you want 25 bridesmaids, go for it.
