1940s Hairstyles

Hey guys and gals. Just wondered if any of have happened to come accross any good websites with free 1940s hairstyle tips or step by step instructions on how to create the 1940s hair does cos i do world war two re enactment as a french resistance girl and then go to dances as a british girl and i am getting rather tired with the two hairstyles that i normally do my hair like. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Ta.
