I wish you the best of luck. I was hoping to find this dress a month ago, but I gave up because it was too exspensive. It seems everyone wants this dress, but no one is selling it. Perhaps, in a few months maybe there will be something for us. (I couldn`t afford the David`s Bridal Price):) Good luck to you.

For all those looking for this dress. I know that 1200 is way too much. I got a deal, though not sure i will settle with this particular dress yet. At a place called Cinderalla shop in hershey, pa they are quoting a price of 700.00... I know that is a lot more affordable. But those wanting this dress. It will take 2 to 7 monthes to get, so hurry if the wedding is in that time frame. Good luck. Just let them know what dress you are looking for and that you heard they quoted that price to soemone else.:-)

SIZE 12 MAY SELL! I am getting married 2/14/04 and have purchased the Oleg Cassini CV008 from David`s. I am considering selling it after the wedding to make some of my $$ back. I am short, only 5`2" so the length will be altered as well as a little taken up in the waist!

I`m following up on Sarah`s posting about the reduced dress price at the Cinderella Shoppe in PA. I spoke to a saleswoman named Anne at the store and told her I knew Sarah from an email group of brides and that she had told me that the dress was being quoted at a lower price. She wouldn`t discuss price on the phone, but told me to fax her a request with particulars (dress size, date of wedding, etc.) and she would return a price. I will post again if the price comes out at anything under $1200. Thanks.

For those of you following this thread, the quote from the Cinderella Shoppe for a size 8 dress for a May wedding came in at $937.50 before shipping. Not a huge savings, but definitely some. Anne included a note saying that "price changes daily" but she didn`t explain why. I hope this helps some of you.

Of course, I am too looking for the Oleg Cassini CV008 in a size 4 or 6. I bid on the dress (sz. 12) on Ebay yesterday but lost because I realized that it probably couldn`t be taken up that much. $1200 is way out of my budget.
