Late Summer/Early Fall Wedding

Sabrina,
I am getting married 1 day after you on 9/19/04. My fiance said no to fall colors saying we our event was not Thanksgiving. The chapel will have all white flowers as he wanted white flowers & I didn`t want EVERYTHING white flowers. Compromised with the reception. Flower decorations & centerpieces are a mix of summer/fall colored flowers.

Each centerpiece arrangement will be different. Tho the containers will be the same. Our flowers are silk & I`ve been shopping garage sales & outlet stores for flowers & haven`t had much of a problem. One of our colors is burgundy so I am staying close to that color with the stuff I pick out. But I am able to bring in purples, pinks & some yellow/orangish stuff.

I too am having my wedding in September on the 10th i did alot of research and asked many planners and even florist and was told that the month of Sept. Is a month that you can go either way summer or fall. I am set on pink for my girls and my wedding and you cant get anymore summer than that. Its your big day so make your day what ever season you want who cares lol.
