Something For Donations Towards Honeymoon

I am in a wedding in 2 weeks, the bride & groom would like to be able to go away for a small honeymoon, but aren`t sure if the funds are there. So I seen some were a paint can with something wriiten on it stating something along the lines of "put your extra change here towards a honet moon` Any help please would be greatly appreacipated. Thank you Kerri

That is what charities do at gas stations and 7-11 stores to collect for needy causes. That isn`t what self respecting people do to go on a vacation. If you want to give them money then buy a nice card and write them a check as a wedding gift and let them use it towards their honeymoon or whatever they want. Do not solicit funds from other wedding guests for the couple`s vacation.

That all comes down to one word: TACKY.
If people want to give cash, they will. Don`t do something like that for them. They will be the ones who look cheap and tacky. If they can`t afford a honeymoon now, then they shouldn`t go. They should go in the future however when they can afford the trip. A very cheap way to have a honeymoon would be camping or an overnight stay at a b&b.

Oh gosh no, hon. Please don`t do this. Weddings are not meant for taking up collections. This would be just totally embrassasing.
