Video HELP!!!

Can anyone help me upgrade to a new system.
I currently run DJ Music from OTSAV and my karaoke from CAVS on Windows XP.

I am wanting to have DJ Music/Karaoke/Videos... But I am getting headaches trying to convert music to the OTS format. Ideally I would like it all on one operating system.

Any ideas including a better operating system, or the name of a good laptop computer to power such an animal would be greatly appreciated.
