Seeking A Wedding Sponsor (s)
Hello my name is Dede from Chicago, three year ago I find the love of my love, unfortunate with all my student loans; we can not afford to have a nice wedding. I have begun to search on ways one can “do it yourself,” but I did not have any luck. I have invest some much time into planning how I would like our dream wedding to be and it tore my up inside knowing that our finances are not stable to have one. Sometimes I woke up in tears knowing that I have been given a gift “my soul mate,” but can not share that moment of love with family and friends. I know these economic times are hard for many, but if there is anyone who can sponsor the one in a life time love, we will be most grateful.

Hey, it was quite sad to read your post. I totally understand being strapped for cash and it is hard to plan a Wedding with little or no money.
I do hope you are able to find a sponsor for your Wedding, I thought I`d offer some other ideas and alternatives.
One might be to get married at the courthouse, followed by a dinner for close family/friends. Then, later in the future when you two have more financial means, have a 5 year big wedding celebration? Just an idea.
Also, do you have any skills you might be able to barter services for? I had a Web designer friend who got her cake, photobooth, makeup and videographer all free by building a Website in exchange for wedding services.
Another great resource for finding Wedding Vendors within a tight, shoe-string budget is Wedding4Bid.com. It`s free to post your job, you state your budget and Vendors bid on your job.
