Wedding Inside Or Outside
Help! I want to have an outdoor wedding in a gazebo in NJ, but my mom is freaking out about it. She is begging me to have it in a church. She`s afraid of Rain and sound acoustics. Is there any places that rent amplifiers or a really good speaker system? Also, any suggestions for putting her mind at ease?

I had an outdoor wedding a month and a half back and I wouldn`t have changed a thing. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! It was back in August so, believe me, it was WARM. We had 2 full weeks of 75 degrees and the day before and the day of my wedding it was 90! Ouch! People were warm and probably crabbing about it, but it was so nice. The pictures are amazing too! Unfortunately, the club I had mine at told me that their speaker system was broken and that it would cost me $300 to rent another one. Now, this was the day before so I said forget it. I wish I would have done it now. It was great, but we had about 150 people attend the ceremony and 75% of them probably didn`t hear a word of it. We still had a deacon and a pastor perform so it was still a religious ceremony. It was just cut down to about 20 mintues. I say you go for it. You only do it once so it should be what YOU want and not your mom. My mom complained about it too, but I told her she already got to plan her day and this one was mine!
