Marrying Before The Wedding

To all who have eloped or gotten married before their actual wedding...can you tell me how your official wedding ceremony was set up? Did your father still give you away? Did you still do vows?

My fiance and I have set the actual wedding date of Aug 14, 2010 but would like to live together. Most everything is paid up already and non refundable so we don`t want to change the date but we are READY to be married and would like to live together, however our pastor will not marry us if we live together before being married. Or... We will have to wait longer to get married.... My parents do not approve of us living together before marriage. We are considering talking with our pastor about getting married SOON so we can live together... But we don`t want it to take away from the wedding.

Can you tell me how your official weddings were set up as far as the ceremony?
