Luminaries

I am having a Saturday night wedding. I bought paper luminaries to light the path of the stairway leading into my reception hall. Before I make a definite decision to use them I was curious if anyone has any feedback about using them--good or bad. They are for outdoor use only--I just don`t want anything to catch fire.

Luminaries are great! They add a certain touch to a reception and people really like them, especially when the reception is in the evening.

I`ve been to a few weddings that used them and people had really favorable things to say about them.

Good idea! By the way, where did you find them? I think I may want some too - it`s a great idea.

I ordered mine from eBay. I got 12 for $6.95. They look beautiful and include instructions to put sand or cat liter in the bottom and then a votive in a glass container.

Thanks! I`ll check out Ebay...that is a great price for 12 luminaries. I love a bargain, especially when it comes to wedding stuff. I feel like every time I use the words `for my wedding` the price seems to go up X4.
