A WEDDING IN NOV.2003
Hi my name is Jennifer.I am getting married in Nov. With the help of the lord.But even with him behind me I need happy.It is my first wedding.And I have been through alot in the last year.This is our 2nd time that we have tried to do this.And we are going to do this.But I need some help.I am a mother of 1 but I have had to take care of 5.Now that they are all with there parents,but 1.It is time to make me happy.My best friend past last year around the time of the 1st date, that was my father.My mother last her mind,and grdmth is 72.So please if you can help i will be greatful.

I live in the Chicago area.....GO CUBBIES......what kind of help are you asking for, you need to be more specific. Start by telling us what you have gotten or done thus far, or at least your ideas and dreams for the perfect wedding.

Thank you all who wanted to help me,but the wedding is off. He said that it to much for him.But our colors were black,silver.

You & he have a child together. Even if the wedding is cancelled, I hope you`re going to hold him to his legal responsibilities to support this kid. Even if he feels the whole thing is "too much for him" (hah!), legally that`s not an option for copping-out of his shared parental financial costs.
If you`re the 18-yr-old who posted other threads here ... Hon, you are too young to be bearing this alone. I wish I knew precisely where to send you for free legal counseling & free psychological bucking-up, but I don`t. Women`s organizations might be a place to start looking, & if I come across any in my research, I`ll let you know.
48 years old now, when I was 18 I was raped. It took me 20 more years to mention it to anyone, that`s how devastated I was ... W/o even knowing it! No child resulted, but, still, my life got more confused. I began pulling myself more together in my mid- to late-20`s, enrolling in a Community College, & finally ending up with 2 Master Degrees.
Hampered with a child ~ no matter how loved ~ limits your options of how to continue shaping your life. That`s why you must seek financial support for your child, since you do need to move forward. Whether you still love this man/boy or not, he`s rejected you in some fundamental way. It`s not about "getting even" on your side, but rather just about holding him responsible for child support. It`s about your child`s rights as well as yours.
