Wedding Guest Behaivor
Is it proper etiquette for a guest to be offended by the way an envelope is addressed and to bring up the issue?

It depends on how it was worded?

Well, I hand made all of my invitations and hand addressed all the envelopes. I sent one to my Aunt, who I knew wasn`t going to come because she lives all the way across the country, but I didn`t put my uncles` name nor did I my cousins. I had a fairly informal wedding and at the time I had three jobs, not to mention the fourth that was planning the wedding. I didn`t mean for her to take it as they all weren`t invited. She got really offended and when we (my mother and I) told her that of course they all were invited she said that it was bad ettiquet not to put all the names on the invitation. First of all, my feelings were hurt. My mother verbally invited them before she got the invitation so of course they all were invited. Secondly, I feel that it was poor etiquette on her part to say anything in the first place. I guess that`s my real question; should she have said anything or am I being too sensitive?

Well they do say that you should put everyones names on the invitation even children if they are able to be there but on the other hand she was already invited all of them verbally so i think she is stressin.
