David`s Bridal
David`s Bridal is the WORST store and service I have ever gotten! I am the mother of the groom and I had my shoes and purse dyed - instead of pink they are purple! Also, they would not let me return for credit two items I had purchased. The manager was the rudest woman I have ever met behind the counter! I`m seriously considering contacting the Better Business Bureau.
The store I visited was in Spring Valley, New York.

I worked at a David`s in Milwaukee WI...let me tell you..that`s not uncommon...there are alot of issues with that company..my advice would be that if you`re getting anything from there..look at it very closely, call often to check on it and document promises...tell them your wedding date is earlier then what it actually is b/c they tend to run into "time issues"..if anyone whats to ask questions about this feel free to email me

I am from Louisville, KY and I couldn`t agree with you more. I went to try on wedding dresses with my maid of honor last week. David`s Bridal was my 2nd stop. The sales associate was very rude. No one would help and when an associate finally did speak to me she sarcastically asked if I had registered in the front of the store. My response was no and she said "we`ll you need to do so." then she walked away. I had been to Bridal Warehouse previous that day and they were by far much friendlier.

I have heard, and experienced, nothing but bad things with regards to David`s Bridal -- I feel so bad for anyone who goes there for anything.
When I first got engaged I made the mistake of calling them to make an appointment to try on wedding dresses. I went to my appointment and was so excited to try on a few dresses. I walked in, found an employee, smiled and told her my name and that I have an appointment to try on bridal gowns. The woman was so rude that I walked out speechless. She (the sales associate) said to me in a very rude-nasty tone "we close in one hour and I am NOT staying late for YOU so you better hurry up and try on dresses and DON`T even think of not hanging them back up yourself! because I`m NOT" I was flabbergasted! I just stared at her with my mouth hanging open and then left. I was beyond words.
The next day I called and talked to the store manager and she told me "yeah I know we get a lot of negative feedback from brides." I was appauled -- the store manager is acknowledging the fact that the store is rude. She didn`t even apologize, she just told me about how busy they are and that they are short of staff most of the time. I couldn`t believe my ears.
I warn everyone I know to NOT go to David`s Bridal. I`ve never heard a good word uttered about them -- they seem to make a mess out of every bride and groom`s big day!

Well to all the brides out there that have experianced bad experiances from David`s Bridal. Please allow me a moment to give you some gratification. I am a bride-to-be with a wedding date of January 17,2004. I went to choose a wedding dress in May of 2003. I went to the David`s Bridal in Orland Park Illinois. The customer service was okay. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in the door, however after I picked out the dresses that I choose to try on in my prices range and I only asked to be showed dresses that could be dyed IVORY, for I am very traditional and I have children out of wedlock. I was then led to the dressing room. Well there was another bride to be there with about 20 little kids. So the only bad experiance was having to dip and dodge this out of control kids. I myself am a mother of 4 however I really didn`t feel that a bridal shop was a place for kids so I choose to leave mine at home. I found a dress that I liked at a prices of $499.00 and paid for the dress completely. About 3 weeks later I receive a call from David`s Bridal stating that the dress that I choose could not be dyed. So I was asked to come back in and pick out another dress. So I went in a the manager already had the alternate styles on a seperate rack for me to review. I immediately fell in love with a similar dress with much more decor and detail than the original dress that I had choosen. Well the dress was listed at a price of $999.00. Because that was one of the dresses that they showed me I received this dress for the same price of the original dress. The manager was furious! I received a $1000 dress for $500.

I have a friend that lives in CO. She said the same thing about the rudeness and poor customer service.
I live in Nebraska, and we have a David`s Bridal in Omaha, but I didn`t go there because of all the bad things i`ve heard.
