REALLY Cheap Wedding Catering!
My fiancee and I are throwing a last-minute wedding celebration on Thanksgiving Day. We were struggling to find a caterer when we discovered that Boston Market does catering. They have locations all over the US. And they quoted us $700 for 100 people! So I thought I would let you all know.

Personally, I wouldn`t go to a wedding that was catered for $7 per person by Boston Market, that`s tacky. If you can`t afford to give everyone a decent meal, then invite less people to your event, at least you won`t insult your guests. Just my opinion.

Let`s get our priorities straight. Weddings are about proclaiming our love and devotion to someone else for the rest of our lives in front of our family and friends. The meal is irrelevant. If you cannot afford an expensively catered affair, yet want to include all your loved ones, go ahead and have a beautiful day. Congratulations on making a wise and mature financial decision. These people love you, and assuming they have more class than a previous poster, they will have a wonderful time. Maybe I`ll have Boston Market at my wedding too, just to weed out spoiled brats that feel like they are too good for it. Who wants them anyway?

Thanks AG! I would have to agree. My beau and I are so completely in love, and money was an issue. Having such large families meant we couldn`t "trim down the list"--and why should we? Our families are joining us not for the food--but for the wonderful celebration of love we`re having on Thanksgiving Day.

I think it is snobbish to consider not going to a wedding just because it is 7$/plate. What if the couple is poor?? Does that mean that they dont deserve their friends and loved ones to attend their important day??
Besides, why should they fork out the big bucks just so that they can get your cheap faux silver candlesticks??? That was a tacky and insulting comment.

All she was doing was passing on good info for those of us not wanting to go into debt for the rest of their lives. People need to keep their rude comments to themselves! Anyway, I think it is cool... Thats a really good deal! I wish I could bring in ouside food like that but we are having where they have to provide all of the food (but my uncle is the food and beverage manager, so I am getting a lot for my buck) Also I dont think it is tacky at all! Hey, everyone I know would eat anything if it was free, and besides that nobody is coming just for the food... They are coming for you!!! Enjoy your day, and youll save enough money to enjoy the days after too!!! heheh

I think that Boston Market is a great idea. I am having a very low budget wedding and I appreciate the information. Thanks again
