Regardless of the website`s reputation, make sure you go to a local shop that offers the dress you`re interested in. Try the dress on at that store and then decide if you`ll buy. I almost purchased a dress on a website and luckily I tried on at a local shop first. It looked much better on the model than it did on me! Then decide if the price difference is worth ordering it online.

This reply is kinda late since I noticed you posted in September but I ordered my Lazaro gown from e-laputa.com. I expressed that I was kind of leery of purchasing such an expensive gown over the internet and I found out that she actually lived about 40 miles from me so I met her in person and delivered the 50% deposit. She was very good about giving me updates on the communication between her and the manufacturer and giving me updated arrival dates. The dress took 4 months to get here but that was expected. The dress arrived in perfect condition and I am very happy that I saved $1,000 by getting it from there.
