Hi there! My fiancee and I are getting married on Thanksgiving Day of this year. Here are some of the ideas we`re using to keep it low-budget: instead of an expensive wedding cake, find a bakery who will make pies (apple, pumpkin, whatever) in spirit of the season. Instead of real flowers for the flower girls to drop, we bought a bag of bulk artificial leaves at a craft store and spraypainted them with a little gold glitter. Whatever is left over will be used on the tables to decorate. Then we`re placing Thanksgiving centerpieces we found at the dollar store on the tables.
