NJ here! They were SO nice to me until I got to the counter, and asked about their layaway program. They actually said to me "Why can`t you pay for this?" with other customers at the counter, and got other sales associates involved in it. I was SO embarrassed, I could have died right there. Then...they made a big deal out of it and the store manager was so rude she wouldn`t even make eye contact with me. Until she asked me "Why did you come if you weren`t prepared to buy?" I found the perfect Oleg Cassini dress, and I must now find another, because after being treated like that, and being embarrassed so badly in front of other shoppers, I will NEVER go back into their stores again. I sat in my car and cried for 20 minutes because I was so mortified at being made so small by someone in a business that is supposed to depend on customer purchases.
