Inter-Racial Weddings

I am African American to wed a Persian man.It is both our 1st wedding but we have children from prior relationships.So we are having a blended experience on all boards I guess.I am looking for ideas on how to reflect both worlds..he os course is of Muslim background but non-practicing..and his family are more on the liberal side,very non-stereotypical.My family is very open as well but very strong in our faith.I just want to be respecful to all involved and hv a ceremony mirroring our new life together...any ideas please send them...
