Your dress is the same one I love!! You can find it on theknot.com under designers. ( go under Timeless) I found a similar knock off at davids bridal and bought it. If you go to davids bridal.com, go to "gowns" full collection page 5, 1st dress, it`s only $250.00 as oppose to 6,000. Good luck!!

FYI - That was my wedding dress. It is as stunning on as it is in pictures. I got it directly from Timeless Bridal in their manhattan studio. Just so you know they are custom dresses - there are no stock sizes. It is made to fit your exact measurements. So if you want to add or change anything it can be done easily. Give them time because they order the fabrics for the dresses from France and Italy, nothing is stock. The experience was wonderful and I would recommend making an appointment to see them in their studio if you are in NY. And the price is not $6000, that is completely wrong. For a real silk chiffon dress the Angelique will cost a max of $3000. (I should know) Here is their contact

She was only trying to help her find a good deal on a dress! Don`t be so stuck up about her reply- I HAVE actually seen the dress from 2 years ago when I got married in "The Knot" magazine with $$$$$ signs next to it. Which means 5000- and above. So, it must have come down in cost.

Hi dont know if this is any help but if u like the dress "Gianna" from timeless bridal its $669.00 on sasabridal.com which on the showroom floor or in a dress shop its 4,000.00 so i think its a great price and beautiful dress hope i was some help

I purchased a dress from Sasa Bridal in May of 2004. I never recieved it. Because the dress had a 12 week lead time, I did not realized Sasa Bridal stole my money until after ebay`s 30 day complaint period. They have since stopped responding to my emails.

In response to all comments on the Gianna Gown from Timeless Bridal, I had seen this dress about 3 years ago and it was the first one I went to look at when I got engaged. I loved it and knew it was my "dream dress". When I got there (the Timeless Bridal studio in NY), the women acted like they did not have enough time for me and rushed me to try it on. They said for me to try other things on I`d need another appointment because they didn`t have time, even though I had made this appointment. They were very pushy and acted like vultures that were money hungry, there was no talk about "this dress is made of this or this dress comes from here or anything about the designer" it was just if you want this price that`s special you have to leave money, and if you come back to try it on again you have to leave more money...they wouldnt give me 1 day to think otherwise they said they wouldn`t be able to keep it the "special price" that they were giving me. What Bull, these women were not pleasant and made the whole experience so horrible that I went back and picked up my deposit. I feel like Julia Roberts in pretty woman "big mistake" needless to say I am spending over double somewhere else on a designer gown and feel wonderful because I am being treated like a Bride. If Timeless Bridal were only patient and pleasant they could have sold me that dress for 8 grand and I still would have bought it since it was "the one" I wanted. Bad Business, and when I returned to pick up my deposit (which they gave me a week otherwise it would be non-refundable) they never even came out of their office to ask me why or with what I was unhappy. Attitudes in that place, very sketchy and not worth it, don`t go there if you`re thinking about it.

It is amazing to see how nasty the "bridezillas" of the world can get over a silly message board post. LADIES!!! lets take a deep breath and remember that we ARE ladies,and civilized at that.
I have done plenty of research on timeless bridal in trying to find the gianna dress that has tugged at my heart since the moment I saw it. I called timeless bridal in NY and asked about the price. Currently (as of 8/30/2005) the dress is 3,500 dollars. It is not available for order at this time. It is exclusive to the store located in the bridal building in NYC. They custom measure and make thier dresses. They hope that sometime in the near future they will be able to allow some form of a mail order but they dont do that right now.
As far as having your dress duplicated, I think that is a fantastic and affordable idea...we wouldnt be searching these message boards if we had the extra time or money to buy a weekend trip to NY just to buy a $3500 dollar dress (and dont think the thought of how i could squeeze that into my budget didn`t cross my mind). Here are some other options for you guys that i have considered...
-contact sasabridal.com and ask for a picture of the dress that was created using the timeless dress as inspiration---dont decide by the timeless picture that they have posted.
-I found a style that is very similar by demetrios that has detatchable straps. Its on the demetriosbride.com site. Under "collections" go to "young sophistacates" and it is style 2698, the 3rd picture. It comes in ivory and white and is made of organza but it still quite beautiful and it is priced between 1250 and 1500, more than 2000 less than the timeless dress.
-lastly check with a local skilled seamstress. I contacted the woman who altered all of my prom dresses and she offered to give me a quote.
I hope some of this helps...i know its frustrating to want something so badly and feel that its unattainable. Just remember that you will look beautiful on your day, lets not make that at any cost, especially if it means losing our dignity.
