Western Wedding Cake
I need help deciding on the cake decorations for my western wedding. I haven`t found a caketopper that has the cowboy`s hat actually on his head. All the ones I found look like it was just an after thought. Also I haven`t found any cake decorations for the cake. I was kinda looking for cowboy hats and boots, but need some that will be able to fit on a three tier cake. If you have any more suggestions for a western wedding cake I am open for any ideas.
Thank You

This western cake idea is cute and very unique. If you are open to try new things you could possibly get someone who is an art student, to make you a cake topper. Or if you are creative you can make your own cake topper with a groom wearing a cowboy hat and a bride wearing a veil in the likes of a cowbow hat. You can find nice cowboy and western items in craft shops and toy stores. You may want to use the toy store to purchase western items you can use as centerpieces and decorations for reception. If the guys are going to wear tuxedos then cowboy boots for the men will be great. Also, you can pick out nice dresses for the bridesmaids where they are wearing cowgirl boots and cowgirl hats too. Since the idea is western, then have them to carry wild type flowers like they did in the old wild west. Maybe lillies and butter cup type flowers that you will find in fields. This theme is great maybe in your invitations you could ask the guest if they have any western attire to wear it to the wedding. It would liven up your theme. You would need to include the theme on your invitation along with the idea. Also, for the reception, it would be nice if you could find those old wooden tables and chairs like you see in those old John Wayne movies for the reception. On your wedding invitations, you can do this yourself if you have computer, you can have you and your husband to be to take a picture in some ordinary western clothes and place them on the front of your invitation. Lastly, your favors could be peanuts wrapped in some tulle for the guest. This would convey the old west. Have a Blessed and a wonderful wedding.
