Wedding Songs
I am getting Married in September of 2004, and my step dad has been a part of my life since I can remember, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on the father/daugther dance at the reception? I`m kind of looking for a song that thanks him for everything. If anybody has any ideas...please let me know. Thanks.

Have you considered Dido`s "Thank you" song? I`m getting married this December and it`s the song I`m having my Dad and I dance to.
It`s a newer, and different song, than the typical "Through the Years" etc. (although just for the record, I do love that song!).
I personally prefer things that aren`t so mushy yet have a strong message -- I thought "Thank You" was a pretty good choice.
Hope this helps!

There is a song by Brad Paisley, called "He Didn`t Have to Be." It is, specifically, about stepfathers. You could also use something "generic," like "The Way You Look Tonight," "What a Wonderful World," "Unforgettable," etc.--and even combine the father/daughter dance w/ the mother/son dance--to save time!
