Wedding Invitations And Work
I was recently moved into a new department and I invited only a select few from my new department. Now, some people are upset that they weren`t invited. Not only that, my fiance and I have discovered that we might have more room to invite more guests. The wedding is a month away, how tacky would it be to post an invitation at work asking those that weren`t invited if they would like to come?

Renee, that is a tough one! If it were me, I wouldn`t go and invite the others that you didn`t originally invite. From what you said, they are pretty perturbed already that you didn`t invite them in the first place. So, if you go and invite them now, it may just add fuel to the fire -- they may think "sure, now she wants us to come...."
The bottom line is, no bride and groom can make everyone happy with who they invite and who they don`t. It`s a very tough situation. I`d just stick to who you originally invited and the ones that didn`t get invited will have to forgive and forget.
