Mississippi Marriage Laws
I`ve found alot of contrasting information about the minimum age requirements to get married without parental consent in Mississippi. Some say a minimum age without parental consent is 17. Some say it`s 21. Does anyone know for a fact which it is? Or does anyone know how or where I can find this out? Even if it`s a phone number to call, it`d be much appreciated. Thanks.

I`m not sure if this will help... I`m seeking information like yourself. The bottom half of this webpage has dozens of phone numbers.
Good luck!

If I get married in Mississippi and am from Alabama can my wife`s parents annule our marriage if she is 16 and I am 18? If so how soon would she have to do so before it would be too late?

I`ve been looking and i think that you don`t actually have to have parental permission, but they will notify your parents and hold your license for three days to wait for a reply when you apply for it.

Your best bet is to call your county courthouse and ask, that is where you have to get your license anyhow.
I think even if you get married out of state, your parents can`t do anything about it. You may want to ask that too when you call.
