Teen Boy Girl Party

Ok, so i am turning 12 and i was going to say `teen party` because thats basically what i wanted but most of you would be all mad or whatever about me not technically being a "teen" yet, so i didnt. I want to have a really nice boy/girl party with NOT childish games and when i had a Halloween party it was pretty good but 1, my parents were like watching our every move (annoying right!?) and 2 1/2 of my friends were sitting down texting half the time (meaning when we were not reallly dancing but the music was on and stuff like that, i need stuff to do and i need it quick because my birthday is in 8 dayz and my birthday party is either going to be the 9th or 10th of december. So i have a lot on my hands HELP!!!!!!!so basically what i want for you guys is how to GET MY PARENTS TO LEAVE ME ALONE MOST OF THE TIME!!! not the whole time but most of it. And also what should i do when everybody gets bored. And i dont want childish games, but i dont want like kissing games (remember, parents!!!) and also should i have a theme and if so what!? and also should i stick with a house party or something else? my parents arnt planning on paying a fortune on this so keep it cheep please!!im pretty sure thats all...if i can edit this or whatever later if i think of some things, then i will! THANK YOUUUUUU!
