Be careful...an outdoor wedding/reception can be just as costly when you factor in rentals and caterers. Check out any restaurants or historical homes or even wineries in your area. There is always the park option as well. Let me know what you think of because I`m in the same boat!

Hi, I just got married ( I renew my wedding vows on my 20th anniversary) but we did a real wedding, because the 1st one was at the justice of a peace.
I did my on catering, decorations, favors, etc;
The minister who married us, is a good friend of ours and we did it on his church, it was a gorgeous chapel, like in the movies ( I live in south GA), we used the chapel anex, that already had tables and a buffet table, so all I did was to buy white and black fabric in walmark, and made my own tablecloths, and I had a year, so everytime I went shopping, and a saw something for the wedding I got it, and put it away, so I got almost everything on sale, the flowers I got them on a sale at couple or craft stores, so were the favors.
For food:
I got rosted chickens from walmart, we cut them and arranged them on my crystal platers. My sister and I made diferent kinds of salads, vegetables trays, cheese trays and fruit trays. I got shrimp and made it 3 diferent ways, and I order my cakes fro SAMS, they were so good and nobody could believed that we did it our selves. If you have more questions, please send me an e-mail and I will be happy to help you.
