Wedding Bands

Who should pay for the wedding bands. I am not getting a engagement ring. Would it be right for me to buy his and he buy mine? Or do you think the fiance should buy both?

I don`t know how much help this will be, but I have a vintage copy of "Miss Llewellyn`s Guide to Gracious Living and Social Etiquette" and under "Wedding Etiquette" it states that the bride ought to pay for the groom`s ring and the groom ought to pay ofr the bride`s...

Eve is correct -- the bride does typically pay for the groom`s ring and the groom pays for the bride`s.

Each ring is considered a gift to eachother and thus should be bought by the oher person.
