Depressed About Dress -Color

Ordered a Jim Hjelm Visions dress (#7004). Off-the-shoulder, chiffon, long sleeves, very romantic and simple. Tried it on in ivory and loved it. Unfortunately, I ordered it in white thinking it would be more like a traditional wedding dress (thought the dress was already simple enough). I didn`t realize how important the COLOR had been in my liking the dress. When I saw it in white I wanted to cry. Can I change the color?? (didn`t have time to order another one rush -only have a couple of weeks, was abroad fixing the our new apartment)

Something else I thought about was to add detail. For example a long satin ribbon in ivory or pale blue around waist (as long as the train). Any ideas?????
