Empty Champagne Bottles

I`m planning a wedding for next July and want to find empty champagne bottles so that I can fill them up with champagne or whatever the bride chooses. Does anyone know where I can find them cheap online. You can buy them for $1.50 each, but I was looking for something cheaper because we`re on a budget. Thanx!!

Katie,

Try calling local-area hotels or resturants and asking them if you can have their empty champagne bottles. Most places simply put them all in a recycling bin and put them out with the rest of the recyclables.

If you talked to the manager I bet you`d easily be able to get as many as you want free. Obviously you`d need to clean them out really well -- but you could use them again. You could even take the champagne label off and have a new one made up for the couple getting married. It could be really neat.

Good luck.
