Teen Halloween Party

Okay, so I am seeing a lot of request for Halloween party games and ideas for teens. Let me just say, it`s not complicated! I am 16 and it is my family`s tradition to throw a Halloween party every year since I was 5. We usually do a cake walk, except we don`t give away cake: we give away energy drinks, bags of candy, snack cakes, and sometimes even costume accessories. We do Bingo too, and the teens (out of the 60 people there, there are usually 13-15) play that too. It doesn`t have to be boring like old people bingo. We always have tons of food because on the invitations that we give out ask that every person just bring one food item excluding drinks. Punch is very simple to make; icecubes with gummy worms, fruit, and even plastic spiders are even easier. Decorations consists of lots of candles, streamers, halloween themed lanterns, and, of course, jack-o-lanterns. Every room in the house excluding bathrooms has a theme: mummy, graveyard, last year we did the Ring, dracula, medievil torture chamber, and mad scientist lab. Get creative! Costume contest and door prizes are a must. If you have a big back yard you can do a "haunted trail". Ghost made with balloons with glow sticks in them and covered in cheesecloth are great lights. Use christmas lights in the trees along with old soup cans with tea lights in them for extra lighting. Halloween is a really easy holiday to decorate for because perfection and normality is not expected. Be creative and most importantly have funn!
