HOW MANY IS TOO MANY? HELP!!
My fiance and I both have a large number of very close friends... I have eight girls and he has eight guys that we would like to include in the Bridal party. However, it seems that when I mention this people are shocked - as if to say - THAT IS WAY TOO MANY! Is having this many attendants tacky?

Hi Meg, I had the same problem when I told people I was having 7 on each side. They are all very important to me and I couldn`t pick between them, so I chose them all! I think it`s wonderful that we have so many great friends, some people have a hard time getting 2 or 3 people to stand up for them. It`s your day - have who you want to be there beside you. You`ll never regret having all of them - but you may regret having only a few of them. Good Luck.

Personally, i feel it is a little much, but i guess it also depends on the amount of guests. I wouldn`t have that many if you are only having 100-200 guests or less, but for a bigger wedding, i guess it wouldn`t be so much. I think though that although it is wonderful to have so many friends, the shock comes because it can come across as very snooty and "hey, look at me". The ultimate decision is yours though, so i guess my advice would be to follow your heart.
