Scared About Bridalmarketplace Maggie Order
I ordered a maggie dress in may (Vogue) from bridalmarketplace and they said it would take 16-18 weeks for it to get here. Then in aug. Megan from bridalmarketplace emailed me and said it would be no later than the end of august to get here. Well i waited and it never came so i called and the voice mail said that they had sold out there company and now there were bridalliquidators but that they would still take care of previous order, but in order to find anything out i would have to go to bridalquotes.com and so i did. Well the dress tracker said it would be Sept 20 befor I would get it, WHAT!!! It can`t be my wedding is Oct 4, 03 I will still need alterations. I have emailed them 4-5 times and nothing has come back. I call them but it says they no longer take phone calls about customer service. I am becoming very frantic. What if it doesen`t get here in time. I have no one human to speak to about this. If anyone has any info on this place, or another phone number I would greatly appreciate anything.

I can`t reassure you about the company itself, but I CAN reassure you that if it comes in by September 20 you WILL have time for alterations. I had a similar thing happen to me - I was in a complete panic -- my dress came in only one and half weeks before my wedding. I needed a ton of alterations and the bridal seamstress I worked with had them done in just a few days. If you contact a bridal shop NOW and let them know your situation and that you may be needing rush alterations they should be happy to accommodate you because of the advanced notice.
Another thing you may want to do is start looking at bridal shops in your area that have dresses you can buy off the rack and get one of them on hold just in case. It`ll ease your mind to have that back-up.
