One idea is to play a photo slide show for your guests at the event. The "slide show" would start with pictures of your parents when they were younger (maybe even children) and progress thru the years until the present day. It`s usually very touching to see the family start as a couple and grow from there...

I`ve had some customers do this for 50th anniversary parties, and the feedback has been great! I can help you if would like to get in contact with us.

Hi,

Last April (03) I threw a 25th ann party for my parents and I made is a Cruise themed party. My parents always wanted a cruise for their 25th ann but we (my sister and I) couldn`t afford to do that for them so instead we threw them a big ol` party! They absolutely loved it.

We decorated the hall to look like a ship with portals and everything. And we even dressed up as "Cruise Directors". It was great.

E-mail me if you`re interested, I can let you know what we did for invitations and favors and stuff. They`re the "nautical favors".

Good luck with your planning!

Krissy,
I am planning a cruise themed party for my mom. I have any ideas or really know where to start. So if you could help, I would really appreciate it.

Hi Krissy - I did some cute bubble wands with the life rings on them and tags that said Bon Voyage - Votive candle holders with the same theme and your mom and dad`s name and wedding date on them would be cute and a great keepsake for your guests to take home. Take a peek on my website at the bubbles they are on the bubble wand page and you will get an idea of what I mean.
