15 Yr Old Party For Girl

I am at a loss on what to do for my daughter, we are spanish and believe in doing the big fancy Quincenera`s, but we can not afford that type of party in todays recession, and I will not re-mortgage my house to do that kind of party, so does anyone have any ideas that would make it dress casual, but nice, and pool party ideas, because I`ve thought about that, but her b-day is not until Nov. 10th, and I dont think that would work with the weather. Oh and I wanted everyone to know, she is at a new school and doen`t have many friends so far, so that makes it hard too, because I got a quote from a local Hilton for about 1500.00, but thats for up to 70 quests, and I know we will not even be close to that number. Please any advice would be great! Last year we did Dave & Busters.
