Wedding Gifts
Dear Kimmieb,
If you think these message board are so silly why don`t you just not take part in them? You`re long winded messages look more like you`re trying to be argumentative and lack a little maturity. In fact I did keep a list as to everybody who attended the wedding and what gifts they gave so I could thank them appropriately. I too had people at the wedding that gave only what they could afford and that is absolutely fine by me - I was just happy they could make it. I just find it odd that she (and another close friend) have not acknowledged that they gave nothing. Maybe me knowing that financially they are doing VERY well and can`t figure out why they wouldn`t give a gift. Maybe you won`t understand until you get married yourself.
P.s. Are you graduating from the Bridzilla Certificate Program?

Ooh, Sheila, strong words. I was expecting a response like that. Can`t handle the truth, eh? Of COURSE I was being argumentative and extremely sarcastic to make my point because the person demonstrating immaturity was YOU...and judging from the other posts most agree that it was pretty nit-picky of you to even notice that she didn`t give you a gift and even more immature that you would consider evening the score by not giving one to her! Trust me, when I get married I`ll "understand better" ...that my wedding isn`t about getting gifts. Quit getting so defensive.

It is blatanly obvious from your messages that all you cared about was gifts. No matter what a person`s income as long as they gave what they could afford...and well-to-do friends that stiffed you. And you`re calling ME bridezilla?
