Planning A Wedding For Under $1500.00
Hey everyone,
I have read all the posts on the creating and having a wedding for under $1000.00 and such. Well my fiance` and I are in the exact same boat. We are both students and are wanting a beautiful wedding with all the glitz for under $1500.00 Its impossiable. Unless your family helps you out. The only thing that I can think of is to do our somewhere where it is really inexpensive and have an awesome reception, or have a beautiful ceremony and an poorly done recep. Either way the money will be spent on either the ceremony or the recep. I know its hard to do while on a budget but try finding a place for very cheap and then the food minium spending be $5000.00 Who in their right mind has $5000.00 to spend just on food??? I cant see spending $5000.00 for a wedding. Let alone food. But if anyone knows of some good places in the N. GA mtns let me know!!! Thx!!!

I used to own a company called Budget Event Planning and I planned low budget weddings with packages starting @ $700.00 so its definetly possible to do. I can help you the best I can if you can answer the following Q`s
Guest Count?
Food (What would u like?)
Wedding Date?
Area you will wed?
Now do you have anything yet???? Dress? Anything? or is $1500.00 including dress and EVERYTHING?
I`ll help you out the best I can, I miss doing this :(. I`m planning my own wedding as well, maybe you have some ideas? Biker theme?

Not sure why my msg was taken down.. But i got tons of diy advise on theknot dot com msg boards! there are many users that list out and even give you files w/ their templates... Also budget saving tips.. Best thing is find a location that allows u to bring in your own food and alcohol… then my friends are throwing me a “stock the bar” wedding shower(guys and girls).. Of course people can bring whatever they want, but if they also bring a bottle of wine, liquor, beer, etc that will go towards the wedding, they get a ticket to be in a drawing to win a grand prize!!! How sweet is that…
Also a tip I read somewhere is to buy food from a deli over a catering company to save on food… hope that helps.. Good luck!
