How Old Is Too Old

Hi Ladies, How old is too old to get married I`m 48 and planning my first wedding. And dont know where to begin I need help and lots of it. My wedding is sept of 2011 and so far my colors are lt blue and lavender or would that be poor color choice, Thinking of diamond theme as well. Any help would be greatly appreicated. Thx
