I just got back from a wedding in Costa Rica, where I was a bridesmaid at my friends wedding. I live in LA and go to big fancy parties and weddings all the time. It was hands down the MOST beautiful and well organized wedding I have ever been to. The wedding coordintaors were Tropical Occasions. The owner and principal planner of company is a really nice North American named Amy Monahan. She as well is a certified consultant with American Bridal Association . From what she told me she started weddings in Costa Rica. As soon as my boyfriend proposes I know exactly where I want to get married. Pura Vida!!!!

Hola Larissa, my fiance and I are planning on wedding in Cosat Rica on Dec. 7,2006. We will be celebrating at Hotel Ocotal. We are in the first stages of palnning our trip along with about 70 guests we are looking for as much advice or information before we commit to Punta Islita at Ocotal and we are on a deadline to make a decision. My wedding will be in Guanacaste, Costa Rica on June 3rd. The resort`s prices are extremely expensive. I need prices for several things like a lawyer, videographer, make-up person, DJ during the reception and a violinist or live music during the wedding.
