NAME CHANGE AFTER DIVORCE
Does anyone know the law or procedure about changing your name after a divorce. To make a long story short, I just found out that my fiance`s ex wife still goes by his last name. They have been divorced for over 3 years. This is not something that is automatically done when you get a divorce? I know I shouldn`t let it bother me, but still aggravating. Can she just keep his name forever? To make the situation even stranger she has a serous boyfriend with whom she has a kid. Does anyone know anything about this, or have any advice?
Thanks in advance.

Wow...troll much?
Okay, I won`t have a hissy fit about it anymore. I`ll just proceed to get her convicted for all of those nasty federal offenses she pulled in the last year and let it go into investigation. Then, since my credit is horrible (due to the divorce, thank you very much) I`ll get our house into foreclosure and bring her excellent credit to my level, b/c my lawyers said I could.
Yeah, why should I care about the fact that she prostitutes herself around the land using my name? If I have anything to say about it, I`ll make sure my ex is on the street.
So, for any guys out there, take some advice. If you are really ticked off because some chick has your name, don`t try to get it changed legally. It won`t work. However, you can always hit them where it hurts the most (after any divorce in California)...the WALLET.
