Center Peices

Does anyone have ideas, for nice cheap centerpeices.
The problem is we both have such large families, that there will be about 120 tables. I don`t want them to look plain a little something would be nice.

We made ours- we saved glass jars- pickle, mayo, jelly, ect. And Etched (kit at the craftstore) words that help make marriage work- Love, devotion, honor, humor, cuddling , ect. Onto them then filled them with water and floated candles in them. We spent about $30 for 50 centerpieces and still had enough etching cream left to do more. The different sizes of bottles made it look pretty quirky- patience is on a big jar, obey is very little, and humor went on a Mr. Peanut jar. They are just cool.

Good Luck.

If your reception location has bud vases that you could borrow, stick a carnation in each and tie a ribbon, the color of the wedding around the neck of the vase. Then cut and curl small peices of curling ribbon, the colors of the wedding ,and scatter them around the vase to add more color.

What we are doing is taking river rocks (the cheep polished ones) and clustering them on the table with a bunch of cheep white piller candles, and some little tea lights. Then we are going to scatter clear sparkels in the rocks so that the table kind of shimmers. I think it is going to look really elegant and still will be fairly cheep. Good luck and have fun with whatever you do!

You could stop being so cheap and buy some and you could also learn how to spell.

We are using candles and rose petals.
Local dollar stores have cheap pillar candles and rose petals you can buy in bulk or make your own with a punch kit from a craft store.

Silk roses petals scattered on each table are a nice touch.
