Quinceñera

Well ima be 15 in april 19 and i really want a Quinceñera. This is something i have always dreamed of having. I remember that me and my mom would start planning about it when i was like 8 or 10. She would always tell me that ill have one, but then the economy started to mess up, so my dad got laid off. And now that i tell my mom about me having a 15, she says we can`t afford it. I would appreciate any reccomendations or tips from any one. PLEASE!!!

Being a parent, I am sure it is hurting your parents. Maybe you can do a Sweet 16 instead and your parents will be able to afford it then. My mom was a single mom because my father died when I was 10. We were planning on the quiceanera and she was going to do it but I felt bad for her since she really didn`t have money so I asked her just to give me a 15 charm and necklace and a ring. She did and that made me happy!
I don`t know if you would feel the same way but I am sure they feel bad.
