Father And Daughter Wedding Songs

My dad heard a song about 6 or 7 years ago on a local country station. He`s unsure of the name and who sings it and can`t remember how the song went. All he remembers is its about a man dying and his daughter is getting married so he has a friend cover the church in flowers for her as a gift from him since he couldn`t be there. It really touched my dad`s heart.
I want to surprise my dad at my wedding with this song, but I don`t know how to find out who sings it or what it`s called. If anyone can help, please let me know.
