Father Daughter Dance

Well my Father passed away 8 years ago when i was 6 i am now about to be 15 and im going to have a Quince.But im not sure if i should do the waltz. I have an older brother who might be able to make it but he is in the Army in Georgia im in Texas.So i don`t know what to do. I need peoples opinions.please and thank you
