My husband and I got married at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino and it was great! People look at our pictures and think that we got married in a regular church. Everyone there was so wonderful. The flowers were beautiful and the pictures and video turned out great. I recommend it to anyone. We looked at a lot of the hotel wedding packages and we thought the Excalibur was on of the best values. Let me know if you want anymore info. Good luck!!

I`m getting married in Vegas next spring. I also checked into the Excalibur for the arrangements, as we had stayed there before and loved it. They do seem to have the best package values, some with rooms included. But there over all customer service I was not impressed with. There were hidden charges all over the place ($40 for a unity candle service with ceremony, not including the candle) and very strict on their rules. The chapel was much, much more accomendating than the caterers were. Meals include tea and coffee only, whether you are serving liquor or not you would have to pay the fees included with opening the bar to just to serve sodas. Cake cutting was an extra $1 per person, as well as an additional $1 per person for serving or refilling coffe or tea while the cake was being served. And to top it all off, after speaking to their catering department for weeks trying to work out a deal and how much space and so on. I leave messeges for a week , to make arrangements to give them the deposit to hold the date, no one ever returned my calls. The following week I receive an email from them informing me that unfortunately while this one employee was out of town, someone booked the entire banquet floor and I`ll have to choose another date. Needless to say, I did not book anything with them at all. I chose to go to the MGM instead. The only real price difference is in the room costs. When you compare what you get at MGM and what you will get elsewhere it`s worth the difference in price. Their ceremony packages include a Pianist, a pro. Video with your names and date and a little intro, the flowers are just amazing, portraits of the couple during the ceremony and a few studio shots too. We chose to have the reception at Ricardo`s, the restaurant right next door to the chapel. Better food choices, incredible prices, and the lengths they are willing to go to so your day is stress free and perfect seems to be unreal. I highly recommend MGM if you are willing to spend a bit more to be treated the way you should be on your special day.
