Returns At Davids Bridal
Hey Just bought a dress, veil, and slip at Davids Bridal. Service was poor. I have found the same dress at another store for 150.oo dollars less(veil is 50.oo dollars cheaper and slip is 25.oo cheaper). Do you know if they will match prices? Or since my dress is still in the store, not altered, or even been touched by me, and i bought it with their charge card, will they refund my money?.....Or will I just have to raise a big stink?

You`re going to have to raise a big stink. I was in the bridal party for my brother`s wedding last June and they ordered my dress 3 sizes too small and we went crazy hoping it would be back in on time...I finally got it two days before the wedding and it was still the wrong size - thank goodness it still fit tho! I`m getting married next May and I went just to lok at some designs even tho I would never buy there, and they were very rude and pressuring me to put down a deposit. You don`t get "service" at all with "david`s bridal" they are just a big scam. Raise a big stink -- you`ll get all your money back!!

I am sorry to say but most likely you will not get your money back. I have had six fittings for my dress and they still have messed it up. It was so bad last night that they had to GIVE me a brand new dress and start over. I raised a big stink about the money that I already paid toward the dress and they did not care. If I have not heard one excuse from them, I have heard them all. For being such a large reputable company, you would think they would be great. But they aren`t. Unfortunately, it`s all about the numbers for David`s Bridal. Buying your wedding dress should be one of the most memorable parts of the planning. For me it has been the worse, and that is not exaggerating. My wedding is 9/18/04 and I still do not have my dress in my posession. I get it back on Monday. Wish me luck, and I wish the same to you.
